Encryption at rest
All your data is encrypted at rest in the database.
Communications encryption
We have all the communications between the application, the database and the browser encrypted
(128-bit SSL encryption, https protocol).
Password and Credential
Passwords and credentials are stored using a PBKDF function (bcrypt).
You can turn on 2-factor authentification (2FA).
Safety
The SKU science application is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and our servers
are located in European Union, in Ireland.
Failover and DR
The SKU Science platform database is replicated, ensuring a high quality of service.
It is also backed up every 6 hours.

Permissions and Authentication
The account owner is the only one to be authorized to access his/her data. If you need assistancethat requires access to your SKU Science account, only you can generate a temporary connection
token to authorize the support team to connect to your account.
